For example, if your teacher in school or your boss at work is giving you lots of duties or rules to follow, you could use the chunking method to break this information down into smaller parts.

There are various helpful strategies for remembering things more often. Some may call these study hacks to improve memory retention. Teachers or tutors like to employ the “teach-back” method with their students. This involves the students themselves explaining what they learned from a lesson. Some instructors also like to utilize acronyms to help students remember key points, such as S.M.A.R.T. Many people have found that taking notes in their notebook or typing on their phone, tablet, or computer has been helpful for memory retention.
